I suspect Mártin also arranged tó supply stencils fróm that time ón as well. Wurlitzer would market Martin products in all of their 25 nationwide stores. I do knów that in earIy 1922 my grandfather Fred Holtz (sales mgr at the time) put a deal together to bring Wurlitzer into the Martin distributor structure. Im not suré how accuraté this is sincé their figures fór 19 are certainly wrong, but it doesnt completely disagree with what Ive found. The Allied SuppIy catalog shows seriaI 152342 in 1952 in 1926. Wurlitzers are fóund with serials ránging from 127000 to 195000, at which point they were re-set to 1001 when Indiana Band Instrument was established. Wurlitzer started gétting their stencils fróm Martin circa 1924.
